The Two Parts of This Course
This course is built around two core areas of study:
Common Injuries are something every instructor will meet in their classes. We'll explore the issues you're most likely to see, region by region:
Hips: what commonly goes wrong, how it affects movement, and how to adapt exercises so clients can train safely.
Knees: common knee issues, what to watch for, and how to modify loading and range of motion.
Back: the most common back injuries, how to recognise movement risk, and how to build strength and confidence without aggravating pain.
Pre- and Postnatal Training needs its own knowledge and care. We'll look at how the body changes, and how your teaching should change with it:
The trimesters: the physical changes in each stage of pregnancy and how to adapt Pilates and Barre exercises safely.
Postpartum recovery: how to guide clients back to movement after birth, including recovery after a caesarean and supporting clients with abdominal separation (diastasis recti).

Once completed you will receive a certificate of completion.
